Why Reupholstery?

New furniture in most stores is now made over seas, and is not built to last. Sure you don't pay much for it and guess what your not going to get much for your money.I have been in the furniture business for over 30 years andI have seen the quality go down very quickly in the past 10 years. If you are old enough to remember when things that were made in China were cheap and poorly made, well things have not changed very much. When you see sofa for $400 on TV you know that it be much of a sofa. Well if you buy it and it last 2 or 3 years and then you buy an other one and then an other one and so on, you end up spending more then just buying a good sofa or having the sofa you already have reupholstered. Because quality lasts. Think you want a whole new look restyle your sofa or look at consignment stores and have one of those reupholstered. With thousands of fabrics to choose from re upholstery is a far better option then buying cheap throw away furniture every 2 years. And it is better for the enviorment, much less goes into the land fills no trees are cut down
and most of the old furniture is recycled.
