One of the best ways to get top quality furniture is to look in used furniture shops , estate sells and garage sales. These older sofas and chairs were made at a time when the frames where made with real solid wood.Most of today's frames are made of engineer wood(plywood)and has elastic webbing in the seat not steel springs . All of this matters , because poorly made furniture doesn't last. It ends up in the landfill and hurts the environment .
