Re cycle Upholstered Furniture

One of the best ways to get top quality furniture is to look in used furniture shops , estate sells and garage sales. These older sofas and chairs were made at a time when the frames where made with real solid wood. Most of today's frames are made of engineer wood(plywood)and has elastic webbing in the seat not steel springs . All of this matters , because poorly made furniture doesn't last. It ends up in the landfill and hurts the environment .

Furniture Recovering no Substitute for Quality

Not all furniture is created equally.
If you have an older sofa or chair and it needs new fabric and maybe  new foam in the cushions . You would be better off
re upholstering it instead of buy a new piece.
Why? Because you old piece will be much better made then almost anything new you can buy today.
Most of today's furniture is made over seas out of plywood and particle board and elastic webbing in the frame. Not real wood
and steel springs like your older furniture. And that is the difference between something that lasts months and something that last decades . Visit our showroom at 1635 South Rancho Santa Fe
